I got a phone message through e-mail from a lady named Julie saying that she is handling some personal business matters for me. I finally broke down and called. They were very private about revealing who they are, except to say that I called DCS. After doing some research using the website I found out the following information.
"DCS (Diversified Collection Services, Inc.), is a leader in recovering government obligations such as student loans, state taxes, and federal debt. DCS has been a trusted partner to the U.S. Department of Education for over 15 years, consistently outperforming competitors, sometimes by as much as 1000%, in terms of gross dollars recovered. DCS has also worked with the U.S. Department of Treasury for more than 8 years. The company boasts an unmatched track record of over $4 billion recovered for federal and state government clients.
