Got a call from this # saying he was selling memberships in the Texas State Troopers Association...
"Amy Davis of KPRC-TV (Houston) exposed a telemarketing fraud being operated on behalf of Texas police. Calls being made by the Texas State Troopers Association (TSTA) were actually being made by a telemarketing firm. Recipients of these calls were told the money raised would go to help injured or killed officers and their families."
I believe these calls come from SAI, they have small offices in Denton Texas, and all over the state, like Waco and Witcita Falls. They collect about $5000 pledges per day! I worked there for a few days, didn't like it! It was the most umprofessional place to work! The employees could not take a break until you collected $200. They would make the young black employees stand up! Couldn't sit till they get a donation! I also witnessed the boss make a hispanic kid stay and clean the office, I believe for free! This should be looked at further by the Attorney General. Office located at 721 e I-35 South, suite 210, Denton texas, 76205. As far as I know it is law to take 2 15 min breaks in 8 hour shift. If they ever had a break it was only 10 mins.
