We are getting them on our 888 toll free number as well. Same thing a couple beeps and then sometimes there is music instead. I filed an FCC complaint today and added the 325 area code to our CenturyLink list of blocked calls list. We have been getting these calls as of 4/12/2013 and get 8 a day.
Upkeep getting phantom phone calls from different #'s in the 325 area code. All are from non working numbers. When I answer, I get one or two "touch tones" with long pauses in between. No one is there. It happens 6-7 times daily, at all hours. Any ideas on these spoofed calls?
My business receives dozens of calls from these guys daily. They also leave long messages with foreign (Chinese or Philippines) music. These are all random google voice numbers, most of which are inactive. These guys need to be [***] down and will be reporting to the FCC.
Sounds like the same thing is happening to me. I keep getting calls from different numbers in the 325 area code, like 6 to 8 a day. If I answer there is no one there. If I let it go to voicemail then there's 30 secs to 3 minutes of weird music (sounds like Chinese or Korean). Since the number is different every time (but always a 325 area code), I'm not sure what can be done to block these. Anyone know what's up with this? Please help!
