they did me too then refused to provide any validation of the debt and said either I paid today or else prepare for jail. Crazy but thankful that I had 2 people in the car to listen while I recorded.
ID themselves as "Firm Foundation Financial". Which they say is a debt collection group. No idea where they are located and they would not give me any more information. Just another phantom scammer. Ignore and block their calls.
This company called me, my workplace and my family members. I called them back this morning, informed them of my bankruptcy (was told they don't accept bankruptcy, like that's a choice), and told them they would need to contact my bankruptcy attorney (we refuse to deal with your representative, you need to pay or your are going to be arrested). I told them again to call my attorney, that they could no longer contact me via phone and needed to send proof of (10+ year old debt) and I would provide to my attorney. She told me to prepare to be arrested and that this would be marked down as a refusal to cooperate and hung up on me. She never left a company name or anything.
