I was thinking of getting some extra money to pay bills. So on the internet I tried several loan options. Changed my mind about doing them. So then my e-mail box got flooded with payday loan places telling me I was approved for a payday loan. I cancelled all of them when they came in. Then started getting phone calls from these people saying I had cashed a check of theirs for 350.00. They told me it was deposited in my checking account, but I have no accounts with anybanks in Winthrop Harbor or anywhere in Ill. or Wisc. bank. Then said they had my drivers license number, which they read to me and it was not a close match. So they said it was possible someone had stolen my identity,
So not they threatening me and harrassing me. 30 40 calls at least and they keep calling me saying they are sueing me, and this is causing me great stress. I have explained it so many times I don't know what esle to do, hell I should sue them. I f you could help me in any way, I would soooo happy. Thank you so much for reading this. Arcana
I have been called several times. The first time I told them to send me information and they hung up on me. The second thru sixth was from me screaming at them and telling them to not call me anymore and made them mad so they thought if they called me enough I would answer the phone. Not happening. I called the local police department and they stated the same thing as everyone else. That it was a scam. I would like to know how they know you name and the last four of your social security number. That is enough to make anyone start thinking that they may have screwed something somewere. But, I just can't believe that there is people out here that will do such and thing and there is nothing we can do about it. We have enough problems right now than to deal with this crap. The information I finally got from tem was phone #330-406-0954 the mans name was Lawerance Richard with a law firm of Kinvinghan Law. So be careful don't fall for it.
Received multiple telephone calls from this number stating that his name was Mr. Lawrence and he was an attorney that was in the process of filing civil action against me for an unpaid debt. Mind you this person has a very thick middle eastern accent and was only able to confirm the last 4 didgets of my social security number, nothing else. When I told hiim I knew for a fact he was a scammer he promptly hung up on me. My other clue that they are not a ligitimate company was the very unprofessional way they answered their phone (by simply saying "hello"). Do not fall for this scam
Recieved a call from 330-406-0954 stating that another person took out a loan from Cash Time and used my name and number as a contact and that I was being sued for the amount owed. When I asked how I could be held responsible as only the contact person the thick accented middle eastern male stated that he would ask the questions. I told him that I was not responsible and knew nothing about it he became rude and advise me to go to court house for attorney and I laughed. I advised the middle eastern man that here in America contact info persons are not liable for the debt. He hung up. I called back to get the company name and he proceeded to talk babble, I said speak english he stated only spanish.. When I advised him what he was speaking was not spanish he said F--- You and F--- your mother and F--- your mother. These people need to be stopped.
How do we stop these ppl from harrassing us and other with this behavior?

Some guy with a thick African accent left a message on a private phone number at my workplace, looking for me. He claimed to be representing the Kivlinghan law association, and said I had submitted fraudulent legal documents and that they would be taking me to court. Which is funny because I'm not involved with any legal troubles! I have no lawyer and no need for one! The message went on to say that I needed to call back as soon as possible, "or else something bad will happen" to me. Threatening @ssholes! I do NOT plan on calling back, but it creeps me out that they knew where I worked and got a hold of the private number...
