After posting about this just 5 days ago, this number called me again this morning. I was feeling cranky so I decided to answer the call, which I rarely ever do. Anyhow, this woman was begging for donations to help cancer patients buy things they need like adult diapers, etc. I told her I have friends with cancer whom I help directly and that way I know exactly where my money is going. She wanted to keep begging and kept saying things about other people who don't have anybody to help needing things and my donation could be very small, like $20. After telling her repeatedly I prefer to help people I know personally and having her repeatedly NOT TAKE NO FOR AN ANSWER I finally told her I was walking out the door and had no more time to give her and I hung up. At least she didn't ask me about sex! (see my post of Oct. 4)
I have received 5 calls from the number 3304746152 in the last 45 minutes. They did not leave a message. The 5th time I picked it up and asked "what do you want, and why do you keep calling me?" They mumbled something inaudible and hung up on me!!
This number is an organization called "Cancer Support Services" which I have donated to for the past two years. Unfortunately my husband tried to claim it on our taxes and cannot find this organization listed anywhere so we think it is a scam. They called again today and this time I was ready for them. When I explained that we believe this is a scam, the lady hung up on me. Please do not be fooled into donating to this organization.
