I have had my lawyer call this number back and they were rude to her! Said I had a court date on Saturday, yeah right, and refused to tell her where and when.
I GOT A CALL FROM THIS NUMBER TODAY AND ASKED WHAT IT WAS ABOUT AND THEY SAID TO SETTLE A CLAIM THAT DEALT WITH MY CREDIT CARD AND WHEN I ASKED FOR THEIR NUMBER TO CALL BACK THEY HUNG UP.
I received a call from this number repeatedly within a matter of 5 minutes. The final call left me a voicemail to call back at 425-242-5600. Instead I called back to the 330-552-5149 first. The woman "Stacy" who answered the phone spoke so fast i has to ask her to repeat where she was from. She said NCA Recovery. I asked what this was in reference too. She advised I had a household bank credit card for $1129 set up for garnishment. I said I never has a household bank card. I have 2 credits neither of which are that. She said it was mine and they sent mailing to my address which was returned as not living there. I said interesting because I have lived at my address awhile and get mail everyday. I then said when is this from? She said August 2008. I said well thats funny because in 2008 I filed bankruptcy and this has never shown up on my credit report which I just reviewed the other day because I had to make a dispute. She said I'll document the file and we will file action. Good luck to you. Very very interesting. I also find it funny they called using a local Ohio number which is listed but left me a voicemail to call another number from Washington which is also not listed.
