However, I am familiar with this people that call saying that a close relative has been in an accident and wrecked someone's car and unless money is wired via Wester Union the relative is going to be hurt badly. It is all a farse to part you with your money.
He asked something in Spanish and I told him "no esspaniel".He waited, then hung up. You could hear someone laughing in the background when I first answered.

My parents received a call from this number, April 16, 2013 at 8:00pm. The caller identified himself as her nephew who lives in Pennsylvania and needed the tel. number to a hotel in Orlando for him and his family and that they would meet her there in the morning. A few hours after they called and said that they drove into a gas station and had accidentally hit a vehicle and needed $900.00 (usa) or they would not let them go. They asked my parents to go to Walmart to get the money. They went as far as putting the supposed owner of the damaged vehicle on the phone who asked my mother to help them due to the fact that they needed to leave write away because the following day they had to leave on a road trip to Mexico. My mother confirmed with family members that it was not the nephew who called. In the last call, the person said, "aunt, I am here for us to meet". She let them know that she had reported the call to the police; the caller immediately ended the call. ALERT! These are scammers and usually target the elderly.
