Guy called 3 times saying he was coming from L.A . Spoke to my father & later to my sister when my sister started getting suspicious cuz he claimed he was related to us . She ask him a lot questions & the guy hung up, called C.P.D after I read some comments about him getting money from other people, beware of this number.
This clown called twice- my Mom answered and he said he was her favorite nephew and he was driving in to visit and that he'd been trying to reach us for a week but kept getting a busy signal but that he's a couple of hours away in Bloomingdale and would see us soon. Calls an hour later saying he was in a car accident at a gas station but it was minor and the other guy just wants some cash so if he could just have our bank account number he could get this guy off his back and he had 2 Bank of America checks with him to pay us back. I asked which cousin of mine he was and when I told him the name he gave me wasn't him, he hung up on me. I'm on hold with the CPD to report this as I type this out.
I got a call from this number claiming he was a cousin from Mexico about months ago asking for money. He called today saying he was in Peoria and made his way from Missouri. After I questioned him further he hung up.
