Student loan-never had one-non-English speaking woman threatened to freeze my bank acct if I didn't send a cashiers check for $5000.00. Scammers-I cannot believe that while I was at my bank yesterday the Manager of the bank was speaking with a Senior Citizen, who rec'd a similar call and assured her that no one can freeze her acct and was calling the Police on her behalf. I feel sorry for Seniors who have no one to warn them about these scammers.
Received a message from this number saying they were from Federal Investigation and my name, address and social matched for a legal case against me. Not Federal Bureau of Investigation but Federal Investigation. Hmmm
I didn't get to my cell before it stopped ringing. usually i don't answer numbers I don't know, but since it had the same prefix as Elmhurst Hospital (331-221-1000) I tried calling back only to get voicemail/pick an option/leave a message but with no indication of who/where I was calling.
