I got a call from this creep saying he was my cousin wanting, to speak to my mother he talked to her fished for info from her and got it .He said he was coming in from mexico the following so we googled the area code , turns out the 331 area code was Illinious not mexico we let him know we were on to him. What his intentions were we don't know.
This number has been calling my house for a few days now saying they are my fathers nephew, this person knew a lot of information including the fact that my parents had just returned from a trip yo central America. He said he was in Mexico and would be in San Francisco the following day. This morning he calls And says that he is stuck at the airport that they have detained him for having over $20,000 on him. He called my father and said he needed $1500 my dad to western union it to him to pay a fee and get his money back. The agent spoke to my father but would nit give him any contact info, all of the calls placed to the house are from the same number. After becoming suspicious we came across tons of posts. I also googled the address he wants the money sent to and it is a po box in Mexico. Make sure not to give this guy any information.
Lol this just happened to me. My mom was very vulnerable and she was scared, thought it was real so she let me handle the call. THis was the second time he played this trick on us but never fallen. So i was on top of my game, i played it off as if i were a top dog federal agent who worked for Border Patrol and Homeland security and he got real scared hahah i told him DONT WORRY COUSIN WE GOT THIS, IMA GO TO TJ RIGHT NOW AND GET YOUR MONEY BACK, I GOT POWER TO DO WHATEVER I WANT...he got real nervous and i got so into the joke that i called him back several times to keep playing but he didnt pick up :( :(
