BE AWARE: 22 minutes prior to this call, I received a call from what appeared to be a local number, even had the local man's name in the caller ID. However, no one left a message on my answering machine. I called the man back and he had not made a call to me from his phone number. These scammers are spoofing other people's numbers to make it look like you are receiving a call from people or businesses in your area--just like sometimes they spoof your own number, so it looks like you are receiving a call from yourself. When they verify that they have reached a legitimate phone number, they call back from other numbers. I've been called from 331-215-8592 more than once.
