Initially, it's a robocall, then you get routed to an agent.
When I told the guy we wanted to be blocked from their calling list he asked if I knew why I was being called, to which I responded, "I don't care, we want you to put us on a do-not-call list", and he made a sound and hung up. He was a jerk.
Their system DOES tell you that these calls are monitored/recorded, so they can be held accountable.
Spoofed Numbers: Caution, 331-215-8659 is a "spoofed" number, which means that whoever called you "tricked" your caller ID to display an incorrect phone number. Telemarketers do this so you cannot complain, but they failed... you can still file a complaint here to fight back against unethical telemarketers.
Robo-call to my cell phone, which is on the do not call list. Did not leave a message.
Morons who call "do not call" numbers are dishonest by definition, so there's no way am I going to do business with them.
Really depends on what part of the business youre in -- selling lists, every number of record that can be confirmed 'not disconnected' gets sold on a cold or confirmed list. Every number adds up to money, doesnt matter who the end user is who buys the list.
