Received call three time from subject saying he was a cousin. Kept asking if we remembered him but never gave name. Finally told folio that we were recording the call and calling the police. Don't know how but he started calling a nearby relative giving the same damn lines.

we also had a call. said it was a cousin crossing the border and on the way to visit us. 15 mins later, he said, he got stopped by the police and wanted money to pay them off. the name off the cousin they were talking about is MARTIN, so they put Martin back on the line and said, "look, I have a 6 thousand dollar check... just got paid.BUT they wont let me go to the bank to cash it. They police has searched my car and found a gun and said, they will throw me in jail for 10 years. so please do as they say." Police got back on the phone and requested me to deposit X amount of money in their account. When I told they to put Martin back on the line, I asked him, "which uncle of yours die two months ago" PS this in when I last seen Martin - at the funeral!
They took the phone from Martin before he can answer and police hung up. YEP, is fraud. If you are not careful you will be dragged and drained.
