They called and said they were my dad's nephew and wanted to come visit. We called our family from Mexico and no one is coming from over there!!!! it's all a FRAUD!!!!!
They just did the same thing to us. Asked for my dad stating they were his nephew. When I asked for their name they hung up. I dialed the number and it's a non working number.
I was visiting my mother last night when her phone rang. She answered before I could. I overheard the caller ask if she was alone. My mother said that I and my girlfriend were there visiting. My mother seemed confused about who was on the phone so I took the call. The woman sounded hispanic and young. She claimed to be a cousin of mine but her Spanish was way too good to be anyone related to me. I kept her on the line and tried to get her name. She kept referring to my mother by her first name. NO ONE in my family calls her by that. It made me suspicious plus the fact that she would not identify herself. I kept asking her name and she finally said it was Brandy. Told her that I didn;t have a cousin by that name then the call ended. This was evidently a fraudulent caller. I believe she was trying to find out if my mom was home alone so that she could try talk her out of some money.
