My mom got a call from a Spanish speaking man claiming to be a family member that got into a car accident and needed $. This guy is theif preying the elderly. Thank goodness she passed on the called to me. There were no consequences but a close call. Don't answer when called from this #.
same here,caller pretending he is a family friend and he speak Spanish.
The number is a land line phone # in Illinois US.
Most likely telemarketer or collection agency. Trying new tricks. Can not call back this #
One of the several outgoing only # so you can't call it back.Therefor do not give any of your info at all.

Since I was born in the USA, and don't know many details about my relatives abroad, I passed the call to my elderly mother, I noticed he kept asking her questions about our family and he verified our address and told her that he would pay her a visit the next day. When I realized it was a prank call, it was too late, mother had already given him too much information. The number is attached to a land line phone in the state of Illinois.
