My parents received a call from someone who says it's a cousin who said its coming to visit and asked if he can stay in their house
The next morning , which was today . My parents received a call from a "cousin " saying that he was stopped by US customs and the only way they will let him out if he pays them $2500
So he asked my parents for help
They received numerous of phone calls and they called me
I called my causing in the USA and found out he has nothing to do with this
I called US customs and I was told that this is a scam
What to do next?
I guess is to call the police
The number comes from Chicago
The scammers are targeting elderly people
So be carful
