I will bet that you will get another call from Daniel stating he was in an accident and needs money.  This is a typical "relative in trouble" scam.  From the tone of your posting I assume you have no relative named Daniel.  Don't answer any more calls from this number.

Mother-in-law just got a call from a guy saying he was a nephew. He wanted her to guess who he was and was going to visit her in 2hrs. That number kept calling back repeatedly.
