Automated message from Credit Card Services calling with an offer to lower my interest rate. Press '1' to be connected to a rep. Played along and pressed '1'. Guy with thick Indian accent (no surprise) got on and asked if I wanted to lower by rate. I asked for which card and he rattled off all the cards and banks and services, sounding very legit. He then said I came up because I carry more than $3000 balance on all cards combined. I said that was incorrect and he asked how much I currently owe. I told him $0 (which is true), and he said, "well, okay then" and hung up. I get this call at least once a month (always from a different number), next time I'll string him along a little and see what information he asks for.
Credit Card Services calling about lowering my interest rate. Obviously from India (no surprise there), claiming I owe more that $3000 on all of my cards and would like to give me a lower interest rate. When I told him his information was incorrect (I own $0 on credit cards), he hung up on me.
