Women's Cancer Fund. CID: Greensboro, AL. Left no msg. I called and a recording said they "weren't available right now." The various "Cancer Fund" groups are almost always a scam. Since they are using a VoIP line to bounce their real number and are not leaving a message--no doubt it is a scam. Blocked.
Recorded message began immediately after some half-intelligible words, then: "(Name)? Is that you? Getting a hold of you is like getting my husband to pick up his socks." Then it launches into the spiel, ignoring my questions, "What? Who is this? Excuse me?" before it becomes apparent it's a recording. Something about women's cancer drive.
They call anytime of the day and night, and calling you by your first name as if they know you, but I don't ever answer the phone, especially if I don't recognize the number, but I am going to report them anyway, so they might as well stop calling me, because to them "it's no avail"...Thanks..
