received call and did not answer - the first thing I do is try to call back and of course was told that the Verizon customer I was trying to reach was unavailable - the second thing is to Google ( I love this site!!) and saw all the comments.
I actually enjoy when these people we can't understand call because I give them such a hard time by overriding them while they speak and asking for their names and addresses of where they are located. They get frustrated that I never provide any answers or informatin or even give them a chance to finish what they're saying that they are the ones to hang up on me and then I don't get calls for a few months. They never to actually go away - just change numbers.
Yesterday, the caller said he was calling from the State Dept. I asked which state and was told NC (pronounced like Caroleena). I said I don't live in NC. Caller argued with me. I asked to be removed from the list.
This morning I received a call from the same number. He asked if he was speaking to Nancy and I said, "yes." He then said something very vulgar and hung up.
Said calling from State Medical Department. I said wrong number. He asked - Is your name "*** ***"? I said no and he hung up. Im near'certain this was a scam / harassment of some sort.
