I think this was one of those "Smart Response" calls where canned answers come in response to anything you say. I asked if they could get me a quote for my elephant, and sure enough, they could "send me a quote from various quality companies". I am going to to regret that I answered. Broke my own rules.

They called my cell phone twice. The first time I didn't answer. The second time it was around 9:00pm so I answered the phone and they hung up. If I can find out where they are located I make sure they don't call me again.
I answered too. Called with a 334 area code at 8:09pm and I asked where she was located. Physically located in the Phillipines. Good grief. Asked to be taken off their call list.
I too was tempted to answer because of the local area code 334 but had a few calls earlier from other local 334 #'s that I checked out on here and found they were all scam calls. So I learned to not answer any # I do not know and check here first then block it immediately. You can always call back if it is legit. We need to put these rascals out of business. Don't answer ever, check first and then block them out of your phone forever. That should be everyone's strategy and this problem would quickly diminish.
Just got a call from this number caller ID said Aarons.i called the number back to tell them whoever they were looking for had the wrong person. A girl name Shelby answers from United Advisors to give me a quote for auto insurance. Told her I was happy with my current one and hung up. I'd really like to know how they get this info. And more than likely they spoofed their actual number so when they call their calling with the local area code you live in. Their spoofing their number to make you think a big company or whatever is calling you when really they aren't. I've noticed that with people pretending to be debt collectors
