I'm not certain this is a scam but there are some red flags. Someone with a very attractive photo emailed me on match. I responded. we chated briefly on match and almost immediatly she wanted to have me yahoo message her instead. I don't have yahoo so text with my cell number. we texted for about 5 hours she gave me some personal information and I gave her a little. the most serious thing is the city I was born in. I don't reccommend giving that out till you meet in person... she asked my full name. I assumed it was so she could check out my facebook and do a background check to make sure I am safe. the red flags were a couple words missused in text. which could have been used in accident. in addition the last red flag was that she said her family was killed in a car accident and she was all alone. I'm skeptical that these names are fake do you know a way to track a vehicle accident for a month and year? lost her father and brother. n had to go to florida the next day to visit grandmother in hospital with cancer. pulls on the heart strings and makes you hesitant to question the fact. the caller did try to reach me at noon today and before I realized it was a possible scam I sent a couple photo's of myself. the ones she sent me the facial structure does not seem to be the same. she also said she liked me so much that she would remove her add from match and it was gone last night long before the call was over.
