Received automated call. Calling about my credit card (didn't specify which one). Currently there were no problems with it but I was to call them about lowering my interest rates. My phone look up comes up with the owner as Bill Fuller from Troy, AL, Pike County.
Automated mssg about my credit card, for fun I stayed on line. Was transferred to someone who wanted my cc#. I said "You're the one who called me so why do you need that info?" He then asked if I have a visa or mc, I told him he should know since he called me. At that point I hung up then stored the # under my "telemarketer" contact which is forwarded directly to vm.
Best cure for these calls..........make sure you get a live person on the phone, then & only then engage in conversation with them. As you are in mid sentence blast them with the air horn. It makes the dog jump, but they haven't called back. Yes, that was me "Bill Fuller" & I heard you curse at me before I hung up on you.
