Received automated call. Calling about my credit card (didn't specify which one). Currently there were no problems with it but I was to call them about lowering my interest rates. My phone look up comes up with the owner as Bill Fuller from Troy, AL, Pike County.
Just got a call from (334) 268-4328
Troy, AL. I pressed 1 just for fun and an Indian guy answered. Wanted to lower my interest rates. Asked if I had a visa MC etc. I said Well Yes I Do!! He said great. Then asked which one I wanted to lower my rate on. I said I'd like the Visa. He asked the balance. I said $35000. He ask for the expiration date. I made something up...he said great we almost there. I just need your credit card number to verify that we can offer you this special deal. I said hmmmm. That doesn't sound safe. Then I started babling about this and that...until finally he said "shove your credit card up your a$$". At least I wasted his time like he wastes ours
Got the call today 3/2/2016
Press 1 to lower credit card rates. I pressed 1 just to see jack with them. The said he was with credit card services and wanted to lower my interest rate on my master card. I told him perfect. I then placed him on hold and contacted capital one fraud department and put him on conference call. The guy then disconnected my call. I love jacking with these guys. The longer you keep them on the line the less credit cards they are able to steal.
