Called twice. First time went to VM, and no message.  Second time, I answered.  A fellow stating his name was Joel (I can't remember his last name) said he was collecting for the NC Trooper's Assoc. I tried being nice, telling him that while I appreciate all that is done to keep us safe, my family is struggling and we simply can't donate right now. He said, "This call is not meant to burden you. Can we count on $25 or $35?" I explained that would buy 2 containers of formula for my grandchild. He kept on going, like the energizer bunny.  Apparently he has no idea what "no money" means.  I hung up with him still talking.
