Caller calls and waits for answering machine - says hello 'my first name' hangs up.  Daily Calls and so annoying.

Caller is a male, asking for Charlotte.

Says requesting donations for police. Knew my name.

Trooper Charity scam.  They call about once a week.  The calls began right after I made a donation to United Way through payroll deduction at work.  Looks like United Way sold my name and number to charity scammers.  Since that denotation I've been receiving calls from several charities asking for money and those calls began after the United Way denotation..  From now on my donations will be anonymous to protect my name and phone number.
