Just got a call from 333-3247, name Amy. MADCM - Making A Difference Christian Ministry. Thanked me for my donation of $15 and counting on same this year. I believe this is a group I declined last year. Told her I only gave to local charities, she argued " we are in Guilford, Forsyth and Rockingham counties. Again I said I'll have to say no. I will just say I never give to telephone solicitations unless I know the caller personally and that is rare. I would love to be off all such lists permanently, but don't know how to do that
Don't answer phone unless # is familiar, but received a statement. Have tried to research BBB and other org. for financials, but no luck. Their web site doesn't list either. Any legitimate charity will post its financial statements and other specific evidence of results. If any one knows where this might be found, I'd like to see it.
