Same happen to me, but the same male has now called me three times but showed call coming from different states each time. Colorado, Florida, etc. He even admitted he was not calling from a company. Said it was concerning an anti-nausia medicine I took during my recent pregnancy. Of which story he changed when I informed him that my last child was born over 20 years ago and I took no medications during that time. Unfortunately my cell does not have number blocking capabilities.
I got a call from this number from a person claiming to be from "Medical Department". I've gotten these calls repeatedly from many different numbers, supposedly originating from several different states. They ask about injury from medical devices and treatments that I've never had. I always hang up on them because it is a scam but it's very annoying.
Call came in from a foreign female who said she was from the Colorado Health Dept. Got very angry when I questioned the 336 area code as not being from Colorado. Got even more mad when I accused the call of being a scam. Got a call back from 407-394-1989 from an angry foreign male yelling at me for calling it a scam. Obviously this was a scam call wanting me to give information so I "could be part of a financial settlement" for something about blood thinner medication. The scary part is that they both asked for my daughter who used to have my cellphone number years ago.
Male called with broken English, and heavy Indian Accent claiming to be calling from "The State Health" department. Called immediately after I hung up then hung up when I asked to speak with a supervisor after he could not provide the name of the business and his name.
