I called my local telephone company and complained about the amount of telemarketing phone calls and harassing phone calls I get per day.... They told me there's nothing they can do about it the FCC forces them to allow the telemarketers to make these irritating, annoying, and harassing. phone calls because they get kickbacks... Think about it if there was no money changing hands this would not be going on... Anyway you look at it unwanted calls are harassment. But the FCC controls the phone company and they have the last word. Now I am hearing that the FCC is trying to make it so the cell phone companies cannot block these calls either... How many people need to die in automobile accidents because a telemarketer called while they were driving and they were driving and they were foolish enough to answer it? ... This is getting ridiculous the FCC is part of the government and the government is doing this to US because we allow them to do it... did you ever get an unwanted telemarketing call and at the end of the call it says press 2 to be removed from my list now? ... the minute you press 2 it unblocks your phone number so they can see all of your private information like your name your address and your phone number then they take that information and put it on a different list and sell those lists...
