would not say anything when I answered, getting tired of these type calls , on dnc list, have been for years, no help, guess i'll have to have phone disconnected to stop the calls.
Number on Caller ID was not familiar. Let it go to answering machine where they didn't leave a message. After seeing this site, I can only assume it was a telemarketing or scam call.

I have been getting several calls per week for a few months now from "Graham NC 525-9969". I finally answered it this evening and a woman said she was from some Women's organization that I didn't catch due to the static on the line. She started went immediately into asking a question about healthcare and I interrupted her and said, "I'm not interested in answering questions and could"... that was when she hung up. I was going to ask her to remove me from their call list. If they call again, I will be filing a complaint with the NC State Attorney General's office as I am on the do not call registry and I do live in NC just a few minutes from Graham. I suspect that based on the amount of static, this call is not actually from Graham and may not be from a "336" area code. The woman didn't have any noticeable accent but did sound like she was American. I'm even wondering if I can file harassing telephone call charges now with all of the repeated calls. I have not totaled them up yet.
Received a call from this number around noon today. Caller ID showed Graham, NC. I did not answer and they did not leave voicemail. I later dialed the number and it goes to a Google number and no answer there. So probably some scammer going through free Google numbers. We're getting a lot of political survey calls right now, so based on Chucky's comments above, this might be one of those. Added to my call block device that thankfully lets me add up to 1500 numbers.
