We've been getting daily calls from this number. Today I answered and was told they were calling "on behalf of Direct TV". I told them not to call again.
The caller id shows unknown but the scammer claims to be from direct TV. Direct TV customer service says its not them and that all of their affiliates has to populate directTV on caller id. Oh, the dead give away was they didn't have my account info or my name.
I have been receiving a call from 336-600-1961 daily for a few days now.....a couple of times a day. I am considering this part of the scam in the post above.
