I recieved a call from them today and they were representing the Winston Salem Fire Fighters Association. They informed me that the money they raised went to help the WSFFA distribute coloring books to ALL elementary schools in FORSYTH COUNTY and install smoke detectors to needy houses in ALL of FORSYTH COUNTY. Needless to say this is crap. The WSFFA only takes care of needs inside the City of Winston Salem. Do you think someone from WSFFA would go to Belews Creek and install a smoke detector??? Either the WSFFA or FIRECO needs to stop the lies!

I received a call from FIRECO LLC DBA, the number was 252-458-2590 for the second time this week. They claimed they were calling to collect funds for a certain county in NC and when I declined because I don't reside there they said well don't you want to help your neighbors and laughed, I told them how extremely rude they were being and hung up. They called again today and I was like you already called and we already said No. The caller responded "Oh, that's right you said you didn't live in that county." So I hung up...again. Perhaps their rudeness is an attempt to wear people down. Also because they are calling from out of the area they are fishing for information as to which location they are actually calling, for example when one's area code isn't the usual area code for their county. Don't give it to them. Donate in person and volunteer locally buy the silly raffle tickets and be a member of your own local community.
