Concerned consumer advocate: Please keep us up to date on your ventures in destroying this scam company. I too am a victim of their "voice confirmations" and phony invoices. I also asked for the legal notices which are on every invoice and bill for every legitimate company I have ever done business with, but to no avail. Apparently they think they can just cold call a business, send a generic invoice and expect people to pay hundreds of dollars for some product no one has seen or even heard of. I have contacted the authorities and the BBB. I am in process of filing a complaint with the Attorney General and Federal Trade Commission. I refuse to pay a dime and hope there is a class action suite filed against them. BTW, the address on their invoice is a UPS box, they don't even have a physical address listed. If that doesn't scream SCAM then what does?
these people call and say they are from an advertising company, and ask you to update your information, meanwhile recording you and trying to keep you on the line, well weeks later you recieve a bill in the mail, around 450.00 saying you agreed to the charges and they have you recorded so they play it back and they change around what you said in the recording!!!
They did the same thing, threatening to send the amount to collections even!
I asked them to send a copy of the business agreement, which she said was a voice agreement only (of course) and that she couldn't send me a copy.
I'm in the process of contacting the bbb, the phone company that provides their service, and I'm thinking about buying the domain names close to theirs (such as ezubs.biz, .org, etc) and list that they're a scam company.
They tried this with our business. We have dealt with fraud in the past and they picked the wrong people to scam. We know exactly what to do to shut them down and hold them personally liable. We will end up paying more to fight it up front but this company UBS is a scam and will be easy to defeat in court and get a settlement. We have contacted the BBB, states attorney in our state and North Carolina, where they are from, and the Department of Commerce. We have been informed that we have a civil case and could enter
into a class action suit along with all if their other victims. They would be forced to pay back all money which they falsely extracted based on "voice confirmations" as well as all legal fees accrued in the fighting of such false charges.
