I received a call from guy who said he was from the Volusia county police department and made reference to a fraudulent loan that was taken out in my name a year ago. I knew something was suspicious when I saw on my caller I.D. this was a phone number in North Carolina. He was very nasy with me even though I told him I had filed a police report about this fraudlent loan and it had been cleared. He said I had made a payment on the loan and that people like me were the reason this country is in the bad shape it is economically. What an insult!
I got a call from this number looking for my son. He identified himself as a member of our county sheriff department, I knew pretty quickly he wasn't. I think he is some sort of debt collector.
i got same call from company they are lawyer office that handles arbitration for payday loan companys my payroll with my job is being garnished because i did not pay money back on time as long as you set up arrangements before they file garnishment form with your job they can not garnish
Called and left message stating that he was with the sheriff's department in N.C county and I had a fraud warrant out for me. But when call back the number no one answers. I believe it's a bill collector and I'm looking into suing them for false usage of warrant and that they are a sheriff's department when they are a bill collector.
I also got a call from this number saying he had a felony writ of attachment against my minor daughter, said he was from the san diego arbitration office. per state law i had to return his phone call. glad i looked up the number first, the area code was not a san diego one, i dont even live in san diego. unbelievable
