Scam caller claiming IRS has taken action against me and I am to be arrested. Told them I was in fact an IRS agent and that they shiuld proceed with their plans. Quickly hung uo. Don't answer a call from this number, and block it if you can.
Did not answer this call, looked like a scam. Based on what I'm reading above I'm correct. I got a similar call a couple of months ago. Submitted a complaint to the NC Attorney General's office since it involved the IRS. They are investigating and hopefully will put this scammer out of business.
Calls my mobile phone frequently, sometimes multiple times a day, never leaves a voicemail. I felt it was some form of scam or telemarketer due to the call frequency without leaving a voicemail. I tried returning the call, but call was dropped or disconnected almost immediately. Finally fed-up with the calls; I added the # to my auto-reject list. Caller ID says: TELECOM CSTSVC
