I keep getting texts from this number saying they want me to set up a paypal account to buy an expensive RV that I have an add for. This person is from across the country and wouldn't even have a chance to look at it or be interested. When I expressed my concern about it being a scam the person said I have no idea how much they are worth and I have no idea who I'm talking to. Again I said quit wasting my time and then a text telling me to F**** OFF.
I am also selling an RV, and keep getting text messages from this caller asking me to set up a pay pal account. Stating that he is pay pal verified member and that he realized that they are many scams online. Thanks for posting your comment.
Thanks for your comments. I just posted a car for sale and this individual insists I set up a PayPal account so they can send payment without looking at the car because he is so busy! Who's buys anything without inspecting it first?!
I posted a boat for sale. Same jist. Told me he was a verified member of paypal and I didn't need to call them to inquire. Definitely a scam. Who buys a boat without wanting to see it?
Getting texts from this number to set up pay pal so he can buy two motorcycles I have. Called pay pal and they said it sounded like a scam. I told him to send cash with his shipper and he can buy them.
