Call saying it was a courtesy call to inform me that my auto warranty has expired. This is a scam call trying to get you to say certain words so they can charge something to your phone bill and have a record of you saying okay or yes. Something similar!
Same here. But please note, I've been getting a hoard of calls lately from numbers that start with my phone's area code and three-digit exchange, trying to make me think it is a local caller or a neighbor. Almost two a day, with different digits for the last four numbers. When I look them up on OK Caller, they are missing from the list. I guess this is the newest scheme. If the number calling isn't in my cellphone as a contact, I don't answer . The "real" callers will usually leave a message. If not, since I look up every number I don't recognize, I'll call back if it is a number from a legitimate caller.

Called my cell. I did not answer from 337-223-9710. I blocked this number.
Also on my mother's cell she received a call. We didn't answer and it was then blocked. Also from Louisiana but I didn't copy number down.
