I received a text about a job and 2 days later i received a check with out even meeting my fake new employer i deposited the check which was over $2000 and 2 days later i was told to keep $500 for my first weeks pay and western union the rest and exactly a week later i was called by my bank manager and long story short i have to pay my bank back over $3000 to cover the bad check and bank fees and the bank i've been with over 6 years closed my account.
I wish i would have seen this last week. The same thing happened to me but the police came to my house and arrested me behind the fraudulent check."STAY CLEAR FROM FRAUDULENT CHECKS"
This just happened to me. Really wish I would have looked more into it. She used the name Nicole Moore. The number is from lake Charles Louisiana. I received a check and deposited it and was told to send her 1,000 that next morning and then when my bank opened the other 1,000. Well. I did the first 1,000. My bank then called me and closed my account. I owe my back and no longer have a bank account. Whoever these people are I hope they get what's coming to them. They're scum. None of us deserved that.
I received a text saying check was mailed to me. I was to take 400$ for myself and 50$ for gas and wire the rest of the funds. It's a scam I've read other reports on this number and they said the bank made them pay back 3000$ for the check because it was no good. I'm not taking any chances!
