Called them back - asked for a website or 800 # i could authenticate/tie to IRS - gave me a operator ID. Asked how that helps me prove he is IRS employee - he disconnected the call.

Got a missed call and VM with this number testerday 08/19. Got this call again today from a different number (502) 963-3819
Louisville, KY and left the same voicemail. How could IRS call from 2 different sfafes and not use a legit 1800 number? These scammers can't fool everyone!
