Received a call from this number and they did not leave a voice mail message. The caller ID name display was missing so the number is most probably spoofed as well.

The CNAM (Caller ID Name) comes from a database maintained by the TSP (Telephone Service Provider) that issued the number. It has to be looked up and if it does not respond quickly enough then no data is available to be delivered to your phone.
Most CSP (Cellular Service Providers) do not provide a CNAM for private cell phone users.
Some of them will give "WIRELESS CALLER" or the name of the city and state where most of the numbers have been issued, but it varies.
And many people who misdial numbers (they have to put them into their cell phone somehow) will not leave messages.
