trying to do the i send you a large cashiers check but i need all you info first to buy something scam.

Got a text from this number. Told the person to call. They claimed that their name was Dawn. Thanks, Kevin for the heads up!

I just received the same text today. I figured it was a scam text (we've been getting alot of scam emails too) because of the grammer and punctuation mistakes. I decided to look up the number first before replying. Good thing I did.

got same txt from my posting on craigslist. Oh and did imention it was at 3am. They said they where going to send me a bank check but just needed me to give my name and adrs to send me the check.
