There was a recent article about a new scam. They say either "are you there" or "can you hear me". Then they record your answer of 'yes'. They then modify the recording to make it sound like you consented to a sale. They then start sending you products and billing you. If you refuse to pay, they have a 'legal' recording of you agreeing to the sale. It is the latest scam aimed ot seniors.
