They just called me again since June 23. Said they were from some vegetation website and got my request for applying for a college. It doesn't seem as much as a prank call like the last one I got. Last time I heard laughter in the background.
Got a call this morning and actually phone stopped ringing before I got to it. This is funny, everyone here is commenting on how rude they are etc, so how do companies like this make money to pay people to call. Why don't they invest more intelligently so those of us laid off trying to find work can find it. I once gave my number to a couple of online colleges thinking about going back to school, but not to this group. My number was probably sold.
This number has called me about 7 times this week and I never picked up until this morning. Some incredibly RUDE guy insisted that I requested financial aid for college? Complete bull... when I told him to put me on the no-call list he just kept harassing me. Even after I hung up on him he kept calling back! BIGFAT SSSCCAAAAMMM!
