first started getting these calls last month....only it was from a california area code...as i was talking with the guy he's like..."hold it..hold it...just got a bulletin...the irs is going to arrest you for tax fraud...told him i was driving and would call him back when i find a place to park...he said no you have to stay on the phone...so i hung up....he startes calling me back of course caller id gave his ph#....then he stopped for like 5 minutes then starts again only this time he change the last 4 numbers to 1040...checked the vm he left and it was the same as the first number he left...today the calls start again...this time i went to the irs website...info there said to go to TIGTA.gov to file file a phone scam report...so i did
Another call "officially from the IRS" that they're going to arrest me for fraud. I love that these folks change numbers pretty much weekly and still call me. I've blocked at least 5 of these numbers this month alone. Good stuff. Come get me!
This is the 4th IRS call I've received since Feb 28th (all on cell). Difference with this one is the voice was a recording of a female voice (similar to a voice mail system) and it informed me that "Officially this is your Final notice" and to call this number back. I've saved all these messages and play them when I need a laugh or play them for others. All the numbers are different but the voice is the same on 2 of them.
