Called and left no message. Called them back with blocked number, could hear that call was answered, could also hear talking in the background, but then they hung up. Scam telemarketer no doubt.
This number calls me regularly and has been blocked for some time now. A new variation just got through two blocking systems, using the ploy of an international number: 1+11 3392 447502. Over a background of a noisy call center, a heavily accented (Indian) gentleman said that he was a computer technical rep, upon which I immediately hung up. I've now blocked all "111" calls. A similar trick involves placing "1+44" ahead of a variety of familiar spoofed US numbers, already cited in 800Notes. Apparently these can get through call blockers that may not recognize odd prefixes, the "+" symbol, and/or irregular spaces.
