Called and asked for Jose (I've had this number for 12 years, no Jose has used this phone number anytime recently)... I said they had the wrong number, they come back with "oh maybe YOU can help me. Blah blah blah... breast cancer donation... blah blah... can we mail out a packet that you can return with your donation?" I say "No, take me off your list" she says "sure, it'll just take a few days.. blah blah."
Scammers... always say the wrong name first and never mentions an organization.
They've now switched and are pretending to support "disabled veterans." It's a robo-caller (not a live person). Block this number and give out NO information.
This number just called me but it was a man and he was asking for money for the police department and I had three donation options. He said I could donate as little as $15. I told him I did not want to pay over the phone but would consider donating if they mailed me a packet. The packet should arrive in 3-5 days. I was skeptical at first but after reading all of this info I am now 100% sure it's a scam. Glad I could google this number +1 (346) 201-6373 and see who else has been called from it!
