Asked for Derrick, said you have a wrong number and he went into a spiel of donating to a police fund.  I hung up and blocked the number.  It is a scam not associated with any police departments.

Way to be incorrect, Sharon. 346 is indeed an area code for the Houston metroplex. Yes, the call is a scam.

Called my cell on 2/4/2017. I let it go to voice mail. Caller didn't leave a message. I blocked the number after finding it here.

I have decided that any call that ONLY shows a number but not a name is probably a scam of some sort.  They all want $$$
