This is a scam. They want you to give up information so they can file a tax return before you do and/or if you sound like a fool to send money to them....

I got a call at 10 am
Called back twice
First just rang, second time, some Indian guy answered telling me I owed my IRS since 2008, I've been retired since 1996, so I don't pay taxes
After I told him that, he said don't answer back these calls, it was a mistake from our company of the IRS
Sorry ma'am have a nice day bye

Surely there must be a way to shut these crooks down.   Area code is Houston cell. Someone is paying for telephone service.
