Who called from 34631287561

My parents received a letter from CASTAN DELUGAR(from Spain), attorney-at-law, claiming that they got my mom's contact info from the US public records while searching for a last name similar to his late client's name VIDALE [insert last name here] who had died in the Cyclone of Nargis Disaster in 2008. Apparently, VIDALE left behind $4.2M dollars and CASTAN is willing to split it with my mom if she contacts him at [email protected] or tel: 0034 631 287 561, fax 0034 917 692 687.  The envelope was postmarked France with no return address

what a SCAM!!!!  i hope that these posts help others from not buying into it.  i just now need to figure out where to report this.

How do you know it is a scam? Sure it looks like one, but has anyone actually contacted him and asked for the "procedure"? If he asks for money, then certainly it is a scam - but how do you know for sure?

Go the same letter, but from Alex Blanc and my last name. I guess I can make an easy few millions. This is too funny--I'm thinking about framing it.

I also received the same letter from Alex Blanc with the same name Vidale, same amount 4.2 million and the phone number is 0034 603 171 133 & e-mail [email protected].  This letter was post marked France with no return address and a threat that the "vault will be confiscated and taken to the Bureau of Diplomatic Security as unclaimed".
